Can I leave the batteries in my electric breast pump when it is connected to the power outlet?
Yes. The electrical power will simply override the battery supply.
Is it possible to order a new valve for the electric breast pump?
New valves are available. Contact us for more information.
What should I do if I experience loss of suction?
The list below will help you identify causes of loss of suction or milk going back up the tube. Make sure you have checked all the following common causes. 1. Inside the pump you will notice a hard valve and silicone membrane attached, please ensure that the membrane is pointing away from the breast whilst expressing. 2. The small hole on the upper pump body needs to be clear and uncovered. 3. The pump needs to be held straight and not at an angle. 4. The setting may be too fast for your milk flow; you may need to turn it down to a lower setting. 5. Check that the membrane is not missing or has stuck to the hard valve.
